Good work starts with honest conversation
Honesty
Saying no, saying I don't know, or saying that an idea needs rethinking is part of the work. It's often where a healthier collaboration begins.
Simplicity
The technical instinct is to add: another dependency, a more flexible architecture "for later." I try to resist that. What's simple to understand is simple to evolve, and safer to touch two years after delivery.
Reliability
I'd rather commit to fewer things and actually deliver them. Deadlines, execution, follow-through: what matters is what actually gets shipped, not promises.
Relationship
I don't think only at the scale of a single project. I like building working relationships that last, and moving from one project to the next without starting from scratch.
